Maintenance Associate- Weld Mechanic- 2nd shift

Job description

Position Purpose: Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all welding machines. Hourly or Salary Range: $21.50 - $30.25 Essential Functions: - Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace - Set up welding machines - Perform preventive maintenance and minor fixture repair on the weld machines - Verify quality of parts - Fill out quality forms - Change weld wire spools - Program welding machines - Always keep work area clean - Always work in a safe manner - Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor Education and Training: High School Diploma or GED Minimum Qualifications: - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to read blueprints - Must be able to use measuring equipment - Must be able to work independently and with others Physical Demands: - Must be able to lift 25lbs - Must be able stand continuously for 8 hrs – 12 hours - Must be able to bend and twist - Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations - Ability to work in tight places - Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills Environmental Conditions: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
