Key aspects of this direct-care role include insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters; establishing access via utilizing implanted devices; administration of non-hazardous therapies; supporting the infusion patient during their appointments; and patient assessment and education. This team supports two ambulatory settings: a hospital-based location on the main campus of the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington Vt and 118 Tilley Drive, our community-based site in South Burlington, VT.
