Job Title Executive Assistant I Agency: Texas Division of Emergency Management Department: Region 3 Proposed Minimum Salary: $4,888.00 monthly Job Location: Lufkin, Texas Job Type: Staff Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) is an emergency response entity, this status can affect working hours, travel needs and change in duties as needed. The Executive Assistant I, under general supervision, provides complex administrative support to high level administrators in an executive or senior leadership role. Work involves coordinating high-level administrative operations for the assigned region. This position has moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Availability for after-hours and weekend work is required. Must have the ability to operate outside of regular working hours during activations in the field, DDEOC, or State Operations Center, and be able to deploy from their assigned duty station for extended periods in the aftermath of a disaster without relief or with minimal rest. *Salary is a fixed rate. *This position is located on-site and not subject to telecommuti...
