Lander~Grinspoon Academy, a K-6 Jewish Day school in Northampton, MA, is hiring a dynamic and creative full-time Hebrew teacher. What you will do: You will teach Hebrew classes to students in grades 2-6 every day. Each class is 45-60 minutes, conducted all in Hebrew. In addition you will Qualifications Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about contributing to school-wide initiatives including social justice, our on-site working farm, and creative arts. In addition, you - Partner with families in regular communication - Nurture a joyful sense of Jewish identity within each student - Teach about Jewish holidays at appropriate times of year - Commit to implementing our social/emotional curriculum as well as our strong academic program - Hold a Bachelor's degree - Are fluent in Hebrew and able to teach entirely in the target language - Have strong Judaic content knowledge and are able to teach about Jewish holidays in Hebrew - Have experience teaching elementary grade students - Work well as part of team - Are familiar with Talam (preferred) Benefits: About Lander-Greenspoon Academy We are an open and diverse Jewish community providing an outstanding K-6 education.
