JOB DESCRIPTION: DEPARTMENT: POD Operation Support: POSITION: System/Network Engineer: LOCATION: Austin or Houston, Texas: CATEGORY: Exempt, Full Time, 100% On-site. Requires flexibility to workday and swing shifts based on operational needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE: SKILLS: LANGUAGE: - Provide level 2 network troubleshooting support on POD testing operations and resolve network issues promptly. - proactively engage with the Test Engineer and Production Engineer on the customer’s request or issue to provide support accordingly. - Building a new testing production network with a server room design according to the customer’s IT standard, if required. Responsibilities may involve planning, design and implementation of the POD Room network structure. - Travel may be required. - Maintain North America inventory for the POD room and production floor. Spare parts management included - Implement or improve the POD/Test network infrastructure in accordance with the customer’s IT Standard. - Standardize and maintain firewall operation configuration and security control. - Follow up with the local team on network configuration and testing failover regularly. -...
