Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Clean & Sandblast Technician in Salem, Virginia. The Clean & Sandblast position is responsible for cleaning and sandblasting machinery and components in the wash rack and sandblast area. Seeking candidates with p revious heavy equipment/automotive sandblasting experience; High school diploma or equivalent. Requirements of the Clean & Sandblast Technician position include: Physical requirements must be met for the Clean & Sandblast Technician job, including frequently sitting for extended periods of time. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
