Senior Principal Digital Design Engineer

Job description

The Principal Design Engineer leads the architecture, design, and verification of advanced mixed‑signal and/or digital ICs that power onsemi’s automotive, industrial, and cloud solutions. This role drives innovation across the full product lifecycle—from concept and feasibility through silicon validation and production—while mentoring engineering teams and influencing long‑term technology roadmaps. The engineer is expected to deliver high‑performance, energy‑efficient designs aligned with onsemi’s mission to enable a sustainable future through intelligent power and sensing technologies - Own end‑to‑end IC design including architecture definition, block‑level design, modeling, RTL/mixed‑signal implementation, and integration into complex SoCs. - Develop system‑level specifications in collaboration with product, systems, and applications teams, ensuring alignment with automotive, industrial, and cloud/5G requirements. - Lead design reviews and provide technical direction across analog, digital, mixed‑signal, and verification teams. - Drive innovation in power efficiency, sensing accuracy, signal integrity, and reliability to meet onsemi’s performance and sustainability goals. - Perfo...
