Overview: Operating independently, the candidate will manage and support the design and development of new pipeline-related products, improve existing product lines, and troubleshoot manufacturing, quality, or aftermarket issues. Key Responsibilities: Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Prepares sketches, layouts, models and calculations to support the design of new products, improvements to existing products, or unique products to special customer requirements Works closely with the appropriate engineer(s) during the design stages to clarify and communicate ideas, intent and concepts Performs various, often extensive, engineering calculations to ensure that designs meet appropriate code specifications and standard practices Participate or lead in the development of new design standards Designs and prepares necessary prototype or test models sketche...
