CAE Engineer - pedestrian passive safety

Job description

For our client we are looking for a skilled CAE Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and verification of advanced vehicle safety solutions. Responsibilities: Perform CAE simulations and analyses related to pedestrian passive safety. Conduct and support CEA and physical verification activities. Perform interior head injury and free-motion headform analysis according to FMVSS201U requirements. Develop, evaluate, and optimize safety performance using LS-DYNA simulations. Work with CAD models to prepare, review, and improve simulation setups. Analyze simulation and test data to support engineering decisions and design improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development process. Required Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or related field. Knowledge of interior head injury assessment and free-motion headform analysis (FMVSS201U). At least 2 years of experience with LS-DYNA. Good CAD knowledge and ability to work with vehicle geometry/models. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Meriterouos: Experience in pedestrian passive safety analysis and verification.
