Electrical Apprentice

Job description

The Electrical Apprentice is a contributing member of a larger organization focused on the engagement and delivery of systems and solutions focused on energy efficiency and optimization of commercial and industrial facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform/Support work alongside experienced electricians, assisting them with various tasks such as installing electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment. - Strictly adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. - Operate a variety of hand and power tools under supervision, ensuring they are used correctly and safely. - Some knowledge electrical theory, blueprint reading, and the National Electric Code (NEC) to understand the technical aspects of the trade is helpful but not required. - Some knowledge in installation/repair of building automation system (BAS) equipment such as sensors, actuators, including landing of such equipment to BAS panel components is helpful but not required. - Some knowledge of installation/repair of mechanical equipment such as air handlers, chillers, ducting, dampers etc. is helpful but not required. - Installation of electrical mate...
