Compression Operator

Job description

Adelphia Gateway LLC, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Compression Operator for Salford, PA location to service, maintain and repair mechanical equipment (compressors, pumps, motors, etc.) used in natural gas transmission systems, maintains and operates natural gas (turbine and/or reciprocating) compressors to ensure the continuous flow of natural gas to customers. Major Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repair as well as emergency troubleshooting and repair on compressors, coolant systems, lube oil systems, valves and actuators, emergency power systems, emergency shutdown systems, safety systems and station and unit control systems - Follow maintenance and repair procedures and standards to ensure integrity and safety of mechanical systems and equipment; carry out routine maintenance checks and report/resolve any faults or abnormalities - Work with operations and engineering teams to maintain standard procedures and troubleshoot problems - Maintain compressor site operating procedures manual, reports, permits and logs and properly record all maintenance and repair activities - Assure compliance with all applicable regulations (DOT, OSHA, EPA, etc...
