Description The University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences and Advanced Medicine, invites applications for a clinical faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Small Animal Internal Medicine in the Academic Clinician (AC) track. The successful candidate is expected to have history of or potential as an exemplary clinician and educator. The successful candidate must also possess demonstrated excellence in clinical service and teaching, consistent with their primary and driving career interests and goals. Members of faculty in the AC track in Internal Medicine are primarily devoted to clinical service; Eighty percent (80%) of the candidate’s time will be in the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital. Time outside of clinical service is used for professional development, citizenship to the Department, and didactic teaching.
