Purpose of the Role This is a dual role spending most of the time in the Security Control Room monitoring CCTV and some time on the shop Floor. The Controller will be in control of the shopping centre staff distribution and control incidents, Access control and answering the phones when required adhering to the to Two ring rule at all times. To Monitor the CCTV cameras, give access to the site car park where permission is given by the occupiers and Building Management. Collate daily reports for Security Supervisor/Manager, Building Manager. Key Responsibilities: · Manage all control room procedures in line with the CCTV codes of practice. · Continuous management and monitoring of CCTV screens/systems and associated specialist security equipment. · Ensuring strict compliance to the Data Protection Act and associated regulations. · Make themselves aware of all things that are liable to occur on the Day shift. · Supervise Mall Security officers to ensure that company procedures are followed and adhered too at all times. · Liaising with service yard guard to make sure that the correct Deliveries/Contractors have access. · Diligent management and maintenance of records/reference materia...
