UNIT PROFILE: The Mood Disorders Treatment and Research Clinic (MTRC) employ a multidisciplinary team who assess and treat individuals with unipolar depression and bipolar disorder. The Program optimizes a variety of proven treatment strategies (pharmacotherapy, group therapies, psychoeducation) with the aim of controlling the symptoms of a mood disorder, as well as supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of the person. MTRC also employs a multi-disciplinary team of experts offering comprehensive evaluations and proven treatments for mood-related conditions, with a mission to provide excellence and leadership in evidence-based clinical service, education and research for mood disorders. The Psychologist will provide clinical services including consultation, evidenced-based assessment, and treatment to patients with mood disorders and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
