Description Job Title: Assembler/Operator I: Rate per hour: $18.00: Schedule: 1st shift -5:00am to 3:00pm. Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts; overtime may be required or offered as needed. JOB PURPOSE: Assemble variety of basic shutter styles within established standards for quality and timeliness. JOB DUTIES: *Perform assembly and general manufactoring duties. May perform pre-assembly responsibilities: - Must be able to work with Poly based parts. - Perform initial hand assembly of shutters to allow for hanging, inspection and adjustment. - Make necessary adjustments and re-inspect. - Complete assembly process - Perform testing of shutters - quality tests, visual test, function/performance test - Interact with quality specialists to ensure that quality guidelines are met. - Prepare shutters for packaging and shipment - pull shutters up into stacked position; may bag or may put on cart for submission to other group for packaging/labeling and shipment. - Complete productivity paperwork related to shutters assembly. - May work with Engineering on testing of new products.
