This position manages a team of Environmental Health and Engineering Professionals performing a range of duties related to Florida Department of Health’s clean water programs. These programs include running the NELAC certified FDOH Lab, collection and assessment of water samples, healthy beaches program, limited use well permitting and assessment, SUPER Act Well Surveillance, harmful algae blooms, and public swimming pools. This position is responsible for the oversite of data analysis and entry, review of engineering applications and permit issuance, inspections of pool and limited use wells, confirmation of public notification, sample collection, and enforcement of regulations.
