Job Title: Banquet Server Compensation: $18.00 an hour: Job Status: On-call (seasonal): Reports To: Restaurant Manager: Prepared by: Regional Manager: Banquet Server - Job Description: - Provides guests with service by reviewing banquet event order, ensuring and verifying rooms, audio visual equipment, lighting, microphone, sound, and room temperature are set as requested, acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the resort and event rooms, promptly delivering and serving food and beverages, informing banquet captain and kitchen staff of meal adjustments and/or timing of delivery, removing and serving/ delivering food courses, and refilling and/or removing glassware as appropriate. - Ensures responsible alcohol beverage service polices are followed by asking for proper identification from guests that appear to be under the age of 30, monitoring alcohol consumption, ensuring guests do not become intoxicated following established procedures, stopping alcohol service at the designated time, and clearing the room of all alcoholic containers, glasses and bottles for each venue at the time specified. - Promotes guest relations by responding to guest requests, offering appropriate up t...
