Production Shift Leader

Job description

The Shift Leader is responsible for supervising, leading, coordinating, and planning the activities of employees on their assigned shift to safely achieve production targets within required schedules, quality standards, and cost expectations. The role is intentionally balanced between 50% Supervisory and Administrative Responsibilities and 50% Active Crew Member Responsibilities. While responsible for supervising, coordinating, and leading the shift, the role is also expected to spend 50% of their rostered shifts performing productive operational work alongside the team. These operational shifts are most likely to be, but not limited to, night shifts. The Shift Leader also fulfills the role of Chief Warden in accordance with emergency response plans.
