Job Title Benefits Specialist Job Description: The Benefits Specialist supports the local administration of Benefits, Wellness, and Leave of Absence programs and assists employees with inquiries. This role handles escalated questions from Tier 1 and applies knowledge of benefits processes and regulations to ensure accurate guidance. The specialist provides input on health and wellness offerings and collaborates with the Benefits Broker and vendors to help facilitate Health, Welfare, Retirement, and Wellness offerings. The Benefits Specialist reports to the Manager of Compensation and Benefits and works closely with Vanderlande’s Payroll, Tier 1 HR Service Agents, and HR Partner teams. Key Responsibilities: - Provide daily guidance and solutions to US employees on Benefits, 401k Plan, Leave of Absence matters and translates into local policy where needed - Present benefits overview during new hire orientation and serves as a helpful resource to newly hired employees - In conjunction with the benefits broker, oversee annual open enrollment, ensuring that employees are educated on benefit offerings and timelines - Responsible for maintaining the local knowledge base with pertinent Ben...
