Job Type: Unclassified Department: Constables About the Position: The Deputy Constable is an appointed position, working under the direction of the appointing Constable. The Deputy Constable assists the Constable and assumes the full responsibility of the Constable in his or her absence. A Deputy Constable possesses the powers, and may perform the duties allowed by law, for the office of the Constable.
