Job description

Utilize advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices to lead the overall technical coordination of complex Mechatronics systems product development activities applied to brake and/or axle systems within Commercial Truck and Trailer vehicles; and be accountable for the project management of technical risk and quality of the product up to and including early production. Integrate the requirements of interdisciplinary and cross-functional stakeholders of product development. Review customer requirements and engineering specifications, and related information to assess and plan product to be developed. Utilize CAD software including CREO or Solid Works to prepare designs for various manufacturing processes. Integrate all of the market and key customer needs of a given product platform into a comprehensive and holistic development plan. Make decisions regarding design and project risk trade-offs that impact program cost and delivery without sacrifice of quality expectations.
