POSITION SUMMARY: This opportunity is for a full time salaried PA-C within the Orthopedic Department and will consist of 4x10 hrs work days shifts during the week. This role will involve cross coverage of all services lines within orthopedics and job duties will be split between office hours (50%), intraoperative first assisting and inpatient coverage to include rounding on orthopedic patient, consultations, and ER coverage. You will participate in the on call schedule and will be responsible for taking first call for the hospital and office with an anticipated rotation of every 5th week day and 5th weekend. Call is compensated in addition to your base salary. You will work with all providers within the department and coverage will be delegated to meet the needs of the department and may change based on necessity. This job offers a collaborative team approach with autonomy to practice to the top of your license.
