Engineer/Designer Intern (Seasonal)

Job description

Description As an intern at WDP, you'll gain practical skills and hands-on field experience with active projects. Interns apply knowledge and coursework to solve building and structural problems under the guidance of industry leaders. Interns participate in a mix of field investigations and office work to diagnose and develop repair strategies for building deficiencies. Interns are supervised by professional engineers and registered architects, and receive mentorship from technical staff with decades of experience. Our team are trusted experts in various specialties: forensic, structural, historic preservation, geotechnical, building envelope, and more. Interns are trained on basic worksite safety, and may receive advanced training covering confined spaces, aerial lift training, OSHA 10, and other specialized training, paid in full by WDP.
