Management Accountant Fixed Term Contract - Up to 50k equivalent Temp to perm opportunity: Location: Dock Road, Lytham: Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Department: Finance Reporting to: Finance Director About the role: We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a One month fixed term contract . This is a hands on role focused on bringing management accounts up to date, improving data accuracy, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across the group. You will play a key role in reconciling underlying records with the SAGE finance system, resolving historical discrepancies and preparing detailed monthly management accounts to support year-end audit preparation. What you’ll be doing: Preparing and correcting month-end journals: Carrying out detailed analysis of all profit and loss accounts Producing monthly reporting packs for group companies, including clear commentary on key variances to budget Reconciling all balance sheet accounts and escalating issues to the FP&A team, Financial Controller or Finance Director Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the fixed asset register Reconciling intercompany accounts: Cleaning up t...
