The Maintenance Technician at The Herrick House plays a vital role in ensuring the facility operates smoothly and meets the needs of both residents and staff. This position involves performing routine and emergency maintenance, managing building systems, and maintaining the physical appearance and safety of the grounds and building. The maintenance technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance, handling repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and working with outside contractors when needed. The position requires availability 24/7 via pager or cellular phone for emergencies, as scheduled. Job Description: Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or related fields preferred.
