Job Summary: MaineGeneral Health is hiring a Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the surgical process by delivering compassionate, holistic care to patients before, during, and after surgery. You’ll ensure patient safety and comfort, support positive outcomes, and collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. - Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. - Maintains and troubleshoots surgical equipment.
