CNC Lathe Machinist Weekend Shift 3days 12 hours

Job description

Workweek : 3 days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hours : 12-hour shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM), including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to run jobs on CNC Lathes, working with aluminum, some plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts. We have Okuma Lathes, running with sub-spindle live tooling and bar feeders. Requirements: - Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers) - Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances. - Must be able to work off of blueprints - Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts. - Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance) - You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc as needed to keep parts moving. - Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records. - Observe safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner. - A minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC Lathes. - Experience with CNC Okuma a plus. - Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and can do metric to imperial co...
