Accounting Associate Position Title: Accounting Associate: Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Work Days: Monday through Friday Reports To: Accounting Manager ERP System: FMS Supplier Agreement Software: BBM About the Role: The Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial reporting and reconciliations. Key Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable and receivable transactions. - Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing. - Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts. - Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. - Assist in preparing internal and external financial reports. - Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP. - Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments. - Support audits with documentation and analysis. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
