Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time TH Social Worker 3 / HEAT Program Clinical Supervisor. The successful candidate will: - Through SUNY University Hospital's Health & Education Alternatives for Teens (HEAT) Program, provide direct clinical services to adolescents and young adults living with HIV and those at elevated risk, with a focus on minority youth and LGBTQ youth in Brooklyn. - Provide individuals, couples, and family counseling; conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments; screen for mental health and psychosocial concerns; and coordinate referrals for psychiatric care when indicated. - Participate in weekly multid...
