How you make a difference The Nursing Manager is responsible for the direct clinical and administrative oversight of the assigned unit(s). This position provides supervision of nursing staff for the provision of a nursing process that assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive nursing care plan. Participates in staff development and performance improvement activities as assigned. Initiates, participates and fosters interdisciplinary team to facilitate the best patient experience and positive clinical outcome. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: - Graduate from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience: - A minimum of three experience as a staff Registered Nurse in a psychiatric setting is required - An additional two to three years’ leadership experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications: - Must hold a current License as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment. - Specialty certification preferred. - Must be CPR certified at the time of commencing employment.
