Overview NaphCare is hiring a Psychologist to join our team of medical professionals at the Kilby Correctional Facility located in Montgomery, AL. As a Correctional Psychologist , you will provide psychological treatment and support to the facility residents while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex mental health needs. Responsibilities: The Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients to help improve their mental health and reduce the risk of recidivism. Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to: - Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients. - Working with inmates to prepare them for reintegration into society, providing support for finding housing, employment, and other resources. - Providing counseling and support to help inmates manage emotional challenges, cope with incarceration, and develop coping mechanisms. - Coordinating, leading and participating in educat...
