Job Description This position is responsible for the sourcing, acquisition, and administration of very complex, high dollar equipment as a member of BIW’s Supply Chain organization. This position is built for highly motivated individuals who have the proven ability to rapidly and accurately perform subcontracts management tasks for a wide variety of contract types. Operating under the BIW Business Operating System (BOS), the Subcontracts Specialist ensures compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safety Leadership: - Actively participate in safety initiatives and lead by example. - Influence and motivate the team to prioritize safety, fostering a positive safety culture.
