Overview Snap-on Diagnostics, a division of Snap-on Inc., is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer II as part of our Platform Development Engineering design team in Lincolnshire, IL, USA. Our team is focused on product design and development of automotive diagnostic test equipment for worldwide automotive service markets. Position Description: Candidate will be a senior level contributor and design mechanical components and assemblies for automotive diagnostic test equipment and accessories. Candidate will participate in the design process with the engineering development team to develop new products and manufacturing process initiatives according to the project schedule. Additionally, the candidate will support sustaining new and existing products in manufacturing through communication with engineering and manufacturing teams using Engineering Change Orders and other industry standard processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience E xperience: Extensive technical knowledge and a minimum of 7 years of related industry experience.
