Job Title: Experienced Tax Associate Department: Tax: Location: Remote/Hybrid: Position Summary : Our Tax Department is currently seeking an Experienced Tax Associate. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, a solid educational background, and a strong interest in pursuing a public accounting and tax career. They must be able to perform their duties with precision and accuracy Successful candidates should have the following: - 2-3 years of public accounting and tax-related experience. - Ability to prepare a working trial balance and make year-end adjusting entries. - A broad understanding of tax law with specialized knowledge in one or more areas, such as individual and corporate taxation of pass-throughs, estate and gift tax, investment advisory, and financial planning. - Experience preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts is preferred. Additionally, experience in non-profit organizations is an added advantage Educational Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fields - CPA eligible or in the process of obtaining a CPA certification. - Proficiency in Excel and Word is...
