Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide ground avionics engineering support for the AFLCMC Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Eglin AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: - Provide engineering and Tactical Data Link (LINK 16, SADL) support. - Setup and operate equipment used to support the fielding and training of Tactical Data Links. - Operate Tactical Radios to include all MIDS Family of Terminals. - Operate Spectrum Analyzers, O'Scopes, Digital Volt Meters and other associated test and diagnostic equipment. - Conduct training for both military and civilian members on proper data link operations, COMSEC Key loading procedures, and data link troubleshooting procedures on Ground based systems. Qualifications: 12+ years experience in systems engineering including at least 5 years in a DoD environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must have in-depth knowledge and experience with LINK-16, SADL and other Tactical Data Link systems and message protocols.
