Job description

We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager to join our team, 3rd shift (11pm - 7am), specializing in manufacturing for our Cummins’ business in Bloomfield, CT. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Lead daily production activities to consistently meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets while maintaining a well-organized, disciplined work environment. Build a safe and engaged shop floor by reinforcing housekeeping standards, promoting hazard awareness, and partnering with cross‑functional teams on continuous safety improvements. Drive operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, reduce waste, and optimize labor and equipment utilization. Serve as a group lead on projects and work assignments, coordinating priorities and ensuring timely, effective execution. Set clear expectations and clarify roles and responsibilities so team members understand how their work contributes to production goals.
