Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Performs emergency, unscheduled, and scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment. - Performs simple mechanical & pipefitting repairs as required. - Performs tasks including, but not limited to troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, & hydraulic systems. - Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders in performance of duties. - Monitor trends, including temperature, pressure, rotation, electrical voltage and current, and vibration data. - Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and adjust equipment as needed or directed. - Provides ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement. - Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties. - Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report to appropriate supervision. - Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. - Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Perform all other duties, as assigned.
