Job DetailsJob Location: Parks and Recreation, Public Works - Farmington, UT 84025Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $14.00 - $16.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: OtherGENERAL PURPOSE Performs a variety of entry level semi-skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of city parks, cemetery and public grounds. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under immediate to close supervision of the Parks and Recreation Director, Parks Supervisors on a project-by-project basis for temporary, seasonal and limited work (generally expected for the period from March through November). SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operated light equipment such as lawn sweepers, lawn mowers, pick-ups, tractors and various hand and power tools as needed. Performs mowing, debris collection, construction and maintenance to city parks, cemetery and public grounds. Checks and service assigned equipment; performs routine maintenance and emergency repairs; reports mechanical problems for shop repair.
