Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Cumberland University - Lebanon, TN 37087Position Type: FacultyEducation Level: Graduate DegreeJob Category: Education Position Title: INSTRUCTOR, MATHEMATICS: Hours Per Week: 15 credit hours Posting/End Date: April 2026/Open Until Filled: Start Date: August 2026: Job Type: Instructor – 9-month appointment: Internal Job Category: Faculty: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent organization, communication, presentation, and teaching skills required. Duties will include teaching general education Mathematics courses such as Basic Algebra, College Algebra, and Pre-Calculus, as well as assessment of these courses. The teaching load will consist of 5 courses or 15 credit hours each Fall and Spring semester. Additional graduate coursework and expertise in Computer Science and/or Information Technology is desirable but not required. Must complete assessment, serve as academic advisor, and serve on designated committees and/or other service to the University. Experience: Two years of college level teaching experience preferred Education: Master’s degree in mathematics or related field; 18 graduate hours in Mathematics
