Forklift Operator - Stand Up

Description Job Purpose: Operate a powered industrial truck to transport materials from the loading dock to the designated warehouse location. Responsibilities : - Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned. - Daily inspection and documentation of the forklift. - Inspect the product for damage, and scan by machine or manually to ensure safe transport and proper placement. - Move controls to drive propane or electric-powered trucks and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas. - Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas. - Mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, platforms, or other transport vehicles. - Other duties as required. Requirements: - Must have at least 1 year of experience operating a Stand-up Forklift with reverse steering. - Must be able to work 12 hour shifts (set day or night) on a 2-3-2 schedule rotation. - Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shift. - Complete training and company certification requirements for Forklift operations. - Wear Personal Protection Equipment at all times....
