The Team The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) provides a level 5 neonatal service and works closely with our maternity services. Women's and Children's Services consist of a 6-bed Labour Ward, 27-bed Maternity Unit, 9-bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery that admits neonates >= 32 weeks' gestation. The Role: This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse to experience neonatal nursing in a fixed-term capacity. While experience in neonatal nursing is desirable, it is not essential for this role. The successful applicant will: - Provide high-quality care to neonates from 32 weeks gestation and above. - Work closely with neonates and their families to deliver holistic, family-centred care. - Assist in quality improvement initiatives and support the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students. - Offer nursing advice to inpatient units as needed.
