Job Description Lab Technician - Marshall, MN Job Summary: Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing on dry and liquid products to determine adherence to establish specifications of quality and purity. Essential Job Functions: - Understands and continuously works towards learning all production processes in order to assist in providing recommendations to operations to improve product quality. - Performs analysis of in-process samples and finished products by the defined SOP’s for all areas. - Quality analysis ensures Loadout meets specifications before releasing product for shipment. - Documents results of all testing procedures and promptly notifies operations and supervisors of required adjustments to operating procedures. - Maintains retained samples of shipped products in order to confirm test results, if necessary. - Performs light maintenance and calibration on all department equipment to ensure all instruments are operating accurately. - Maintains ongoing records of results and testing procedures by the use of SOP’s. - Maintains adequate supplies used for testing procedures, notifies the Quality Department of the need to reorder items, and h...
