Job description

Job Purpose As a Designer, you will develop concepts, layout drawings, 3D models, and detailed designs for automotive powertrain components and sub-assemblies. You will act as a key interface between the design team and Product Engineers, integrating inputs from multiple sources into complete, production-ready designs. You will manage multiple assignments simultaneously and report to the Design Supervisor or Manager. While this role has no direct reports, you are responsible for the technical accuracy and quality of your work. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including program management, finance, manufacturing, electrical hardware/software, and quality, as well as occasional interaction with customers and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain 3D models and drawings of automotive powertrain components and sub-assemblies using CAD software. Create models/drawings/stacks/exploded views from supplied information such as sketches, marked prints, layouts and other information supplied by Product Engineers.
