Forklift Buffer - 2nd Shift

Job description

Shift: 1:30 PM-9:00 PM Hourly Rate: $23.25 an hour: The Buffer Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that our finished product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner . Forklift duties include but are not limited to driving a forklift in a freezer warehouse, ensuring safety of equipment being used , transporting finished product in the warehouse, pullin g finished product for loading of trailers, prepar ing trailers for loading, and load ing trailers adhering to proper procedure . Ensuring facility maintenance through good housekeeping practices. Essential Job Functions: Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position Ability to read , w rite , communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English Ability to drive forklifts including stand-up, sit-down, hi-lift, and tandems.
