Hiring Unit: Student Services - Music (Nancy Czemmel) Position Summary: The Schulich School of Music is looking for peer mentors to provide support, encouragement and guidance to newer students in the Schulich community. The mentor team will support the student body by providing advising and referral services during drop-in advising hours. Mentors may be paired with one or more mentees and meet with them throughout the semester, discussing topics such as course selection, working, studying, practicing, making friends, exploring Montreal or whatever feels natural! Mentors will receive training for referral, active listening, cultural bias and more, starting in the last week of August and continuing through the fall semester.
