Title: Admissions Counselor Division: Strategic Enrollment Management: Department: Undergraduate Admissions: FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Range: Annual Salary: EEO Job Group: 2 E2: Position Summary: The University of Southern Indiana’s Undergraduate Admission office seeks applications for an Admission Counselor to provide information and counsel to prospective and newly admitted students concerning policies and procedures as well as evaluating the students’ educational and career goals. In addition, counselors will assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and recruitment program designed to meet enrollment objectives and budgetary goals within assigned territory. Duties/Responsibilities: - Implement a comprehensive recruitment plan in the assigned territory. Activities may include but are not limited to high school visitation, community college visitation, college fair participation, and personalized communication (telephone and email). - Review applications and credentials for admission to the College. - Interview and counsel prospective students and their families regarding admission policies and procedures. - Establish and regularly monitor measur...
