City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift: Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara is currently hiring a Patient Care Technician to work at Sentara Leigh Hospital on the Med Surg/ Hematology Unit. Hours/Shift: Full-time, nightshift, approximately 6pm to 6am Department/Position Overview: This state of the art 24 bed unit offers a wide variety of medical diagnosis including CHF, COPD, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Diabetes, and Stroke. Our specialty is caring for those with chronic blood disorders such as Sickle Cell. Our staff members have different backgrounds that allow us to provide culturally competent care to our patients and families. The best part is learning and growing from each other.
