CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with Polygraphs are required POSITION : MySQL & Oracle DBA REQUISITION : ORA-2252-04.021823 LOCATION : Ft. Meade, Maryland JOB DESCRIPTION : Candidate will be providing Oracle database administration support in a production environment. • Eight (8+) years of experience administering to, and engineering solutions with MySQL and Oracle’s database (10 – 12). Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning. • Installing and configuring new MySQL servers (5.x and 8.x) • Upgrading MySQL databases, both major and minor revisions • Administering MySQL account access, backups and table spaces • Migrating MySQL databases • Monitoring MySQL server performance • Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery desired • Experience with Streams / GoldenGate, DB security, DB Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration desired • Occasional after hours call-in required on an as needed basis. • Must be an independent worker w...
