Job Title: HOMEBUILDERS-Therapist: Location: Wake & Nash Counties: REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: - A bachelorĺs degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related human services area. - A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children and families. JOB POSTING: - The Supervisor shall be 100% dedicated FTE to the HOMEBUILDERS« program - Conduct behaviorally specific, interactive, and holistic assessments of the family. - Develop a Service Plan, in collaboration with the family, the local child welfare agency and others, within one (1) week of the start of service. - Use the modelĺs evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing, behavioral parent training, cognitive-behavior therapy, and relapse prevention strategies to help facilitate behavior change. - Therapists shall teach family members a variety of skills, including child behavior management, effective discipline, positive behavioral suppo...
