GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position is part of the clinical team. This position is responsible for providing patients with friendly, efficient and timely delivery of Provider prescribed medications that have been verified by the licensed Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Tech I may be trained by Pharmacy Tech II or III. Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Provides positive impression, through words and tone, to patients, visitors, and employees presenting to the clinic areas and on the phone. - Operates cash register proficiently, including handling cash and other tenders of payment such as vouchers, debit and credit cards, balancing registers and preparing deliveries and mail outs. - Actively stocks new inventory and removes expired inventory from shelves. - Processes prescriptions into the computer system accurately, screens for program eligibility, clarifies any issues with prescriber’s office, counts, a...
